Another three SOHO comets received orbits and designations: C/1997 S4 (SOHO)
was found by R. Kracht and seems to belong to no known group of comets although the
orbital solution is very uncertain. C/1997 U9 (SOHO) is an archival find also
by R. Kracht. This comet seems to be the 23rd member of the
Meyer group, although
with somewhat outlying orbital elements. C/2002 M2 (SOHO) was again found by
R. Kracht and is a member of the
Kreutz group.
SOHO has now found 471 new comets.
